Join us on Sunday, November 13 in the Grand Ballroom of the Mining Exchange Hotel for a night of unexpected culinary creativity and skill featuring rescued food and local celebrity chefs! Chefs to the Rescue will showcase the work of Nate Dirnberger (D11), Gerry Castro (Till), Jason Miller (Mining Exchange), Supansa Baker (2South) and more who will curate a 4-course, 5-star dinner around rescued food.

Every course will tell a tale of creativity and improvisational skill! Live/paddle auctions and entertainment. All proceeds benefit Seeds Community Café and Colorado Springs Food Rescue.

Seeds Sustainability Summit

What an event! What an evening! The barn at Venetucci Farm was the perfect setting for a farm-to-table meal that featured produce from Venetucci Farm, Larga Vista Farm and Easter Egg Acres. The setting was beautiful, and over 110 Seeds supporters were there to hear the latest about the local Sustainability Summit from the leaders in the space, including Doug Wiley, Arkansas Valley Organic Growers; Nanna Meyer, UCCS Flying Carrot; Zec Chapman, Colorado Springs Food Rescue; and Steve Saint, co-Founder, Local Food Working Group. This signature fundraiser for Seeds serves two purposes: It provides local supporters of Seeds Community Cafe’ the opportunity to make an investment in the sustainability of the nonprofit and also gives them access to those who are working every day to create a sustainable foodshed in our community. The 3rd Annual Sustainability Summit is scheduled for June 2017.
